Meeting Maeve

After the birth of our first daughter in 2019 (emergency c-section after a long induction process), we wanted to feel more informed and empowered as we awaited the arrival of our second child.

We attended the VBAC Masterclass as well as the Birthing Master-Class (held over 4 weeks). We gained so much knowledge and felt extremely excited and empowered; ready to meet our daughter.

My husband and I discussed our birth plan together and talked about techniques and strategies that we could implement during labour (using a comb in the palm of my hand for accupressure, music, breathing techniques etc). We also hired a TENS machine from Deb, which was great.

Whilst the birth of our second daughter, Maeve, also ended in an unplanned caesarean, we really couldn't be happier. This time we felt extremely empowered and knew that we had done everything we could to equip ourselves with knowledge and confidence. The birth we had wasn't our 'Plan A', however we are completely at peace with everything that took place and are so happy to have our beautiful girl in our arms.

We cannot recommend Deb's classes enough to people - whether you're expecting your first child or you already have children - you will definitely gain lots from the sessions and feel more confident about the birthing journey.
